Security forces and Air Force intelligence conducted a wide detention raid in the last 3 weeks in Daraya and detained many activists and others who have nothing to do with demonstrations.
Security forces supported with a large number of armed people stormed the house of Mr. Abdulakram Saqqa on Thursday 14th of July, and they took him to a place believed to be the Air Force branch responsible for Daraya area, Mr. Saqqa is a famous islamic writer and intellectual, he had been detained many times before for his opinion.
On the same day, young man Naseem Rajeh and Osama Alayyan and others were detained.
Security cars, shabiha (regime’s armed thugs) buses and Air Force intelligence personnel are wandering the city of Daraya everyday and sometimes detain randomly, sometimes also they are storming houses and shops.
Security forces also detained Musatafa Khouli on Saturday 16th of July after a collaborator with the Air Force intelligence told on him.
