The number of martyrs who fell from being shot by security and heavy weapons of the regime’s army since the declaration of the Arab league notice for the regime in 16-10-2011 until the expiration date, which is today 30-10-2011, has reached 343 martyr, including 20 children.
14 children (male), 6 female children, and 13 women were martyred during the Arab league’s two weeks notice.
Note that there are 45 military martyrs, and 298 civilian martyrs.
And the number of detainees -only the ones documented by names- has reached 1077 detainees, including 42 children.
And the neighborhoods of Homs has witnessed, during these two weeks, a heavy shelling from tanks guns and heavy machine guns, which caused destruction of homes and buildings, and also caused the destruction of ruins that go back to the sixth century AD in Al-Bara town in Idlib governorate.
And the violent military operation, launched by security forces with the regime’s army, spreaded to many Syrian cities and towns such as: Jabal Zawyeh and most of Idlib’s suburbs, Homs and Talbiseh, Hama and Karnaz in addition to the cities of Damascus Suburbs, and Horan, which was exposed to abuse and storming many times, in response to the general strike that the city declared. This is in addition to the wide and continuous arrests, which doesn’t exclude any Syrian governorate.
